Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow

Here's the trailer:

Sky Captain, in my opinion was a fantastic film. The all-star cast demonstrated good acting, and the script was well written.
Now, the downside is that many people will not understand this film. Most will think it stupid or hoaky. They will not understand the way the script is written. Why? Because the entire thing was designed to feel like a movie from the golden age of the silver screen. They duplicated the feel perfectly. I can say without a doubt that if the directors from the 30s had access to this kind of technology, this is what they would have produced.
Caution: A few mild swear words, and nudity is suggested and mentioned. However, the "nude" scene must be taken in stride, as it is handled VERY well. Nothing is shown, and it winds up being VERY funny. For a spoiler, see below. *
All in all, I give this movie 5 stars. It was very good. *****

*spoiler for questionable scene.
Sky Captain wakes next to Polly in bed after an explosion. He remembers nothing after the explosion, but their clothes are gone. (no nudity is shown. All but head and shoulders are covered.) Joe (sky captain) asks Polly why she is embarrassed about being naked. Polly demands to know where the clothes have gone. Then she resolves to get up and wrap herself in something, and commands Joe to roll over and look away. Joe rolls over and is greeted by the sight of their heavy-set russian guide in the same bed, also in the same predicament.
A monk appears and explains that the clothes were burned to remove radiation. Scene ends.
